“A game is a series of interesting choices.”
— Sid Meier
“Fail faster and follow the fun.”
— The 4 F’s of Game Design
These principles have shaped the way that I approach Game Design and learning. I believe that failing is an essential step towards growth.
I have worked with diverse teams of 3 - 20 people in both education and game industry developing digital games from concept to release. My specialization is in System Design and Narrative Design. This taught me how to build engaging experiences that encourage curiosity, cooperation and problem-solving.
Today, I apply those same design principles beyond just digital games. Through Roll to Relate, I use tabletop role-playing games as a tool to help people develop social skills in a playful environment.
